Here is a 1983 Mercedes Gray Market G wagon that was never sold in the U.S. This G has very minimal rust, clean under carriage and clean engine bay. The paint was obviously changed but is still doing its job. There is a barrier between the cab and the bed but can be removed easily. Engine fires up and drives through the gears with no issues but may need some tuning.

The paint is all original, with only minor chips on the bumper and hood, as would be expected for a 53, 000 mile car. This car has spent nearly all of its life under cover, in a heated garage. I always stored it with fuel stabilizer and kept it meticulously clean. Interior is great, I always armor-all everything and put leather treatment on the seats.

Extremely clean vehicle. This has been my baby for several years. I am the second owner, Always carport kept. Perfect, mint? Heck no but could be made perfect with very little work. This was a Michigan truck and it has chassis rust but it is not deep at all. Could be easily scraped and repainted with good chassis paint.
